Enjoy the outdoors with an instructor-led walk, using your own body weight for resistance! Walk at your own pace through parks with breaks to do stationary exercises. Dress appropriately for the weather.

All programs are outdoor and may have cardio and/or conditioning components with options for different levels of intensity.

Boot Camp

This high-intensity interval training class will challenge you to improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance levels.

Cardio High/Low

A cardiovascular workout for all levels with high and low impact options.

Cardio Dance

Various culture-inspired music and dance movements create a dynamic and exciting aerobic workout.

Cardio HIIT

This class is a cardio and strength combo that provides conditioning in an outdoor setting, using park amenities where feasible.

Gentle Fit

A gentle and slow-paced class for all ages and fitness levels, Gentle Fit provides low-intensity level exercise options for cardio and conditioning. Appropriate for people with low bone density or osteoporosis. Some classes have floor work and others use chairs for the conditioning portion.

Run Fit

This group fitness class switches between stationary fitness exercises and running while staying in the park or field.

Stretch and Tone

Improve posture and flexibility by strengthening and stretching the muscles of the body.

Stroller Fit

For parents/caregivers and children in strollers. Cardio and conditioning components are incorporated for a full-body workout with options for different levels of intensity.

Zumba and Zumba Gold

This is a fun, Latin-inspired cardio dance workout using international music. Zumba Gold is for older adults 60+.

Masks must be worn while indoors.

Masks are not required for outdoor participants if they can, at all times, maintain:

  • a two-metre distance from other people during rest periods
  • a three-metre distance from other people while doing physical activity

If these distances can’t be maintained at all times, a mask is required.
