The City of Toronto’s RFP for PPE in response to COVID-19 closed on July 8, 2020.

In addition, The City of Toronto wishes to advise all potential PPE suppliers that the Business Contributions to the City of Toronto COVID-19 Response form also closed on October 1, 2020. All offers that came forward through the COVID-19 Response form are appreciated and your company information has been added to our list of PPE suppliers and should our needs change in these times of volatility, we will refer to that list for possible sources of supply.

The City of Toronto appreciates all offers of help during the ongoing public health response.

Due to the volume of forms received, businesses will be contacted by the City in order of the priority need of the goods or services offered.

We invite suppliers of PPE to register on the City’s eprocurement portal via SAP Ariba as the City will be issuing procurements for the supply of various types of PPE in longer-term contracts. Please see Searching & Bidding on City Contracts for more information on registering as a supplier with the City.

In addition to the City of Toronto’s move to fast track suppliers, the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada are asking businesses for emergency products and seeking Canadian manufactures that can assist in meeting the need for medical supplies to help combat COVID-19.

The City of Toronto is sharing this list of potential PPE suppliers with community-based organizations in order to support access to PPE. The City of Toronto does not hold any responsibility for products purchased through these suppliers. Agencies should conduct an organizational review to ensure the adequacy and quality of any products secured. Inclusion of a supplier on the list is not an indication that the supplier has available inventory.
