Request for Extension of Deadline for
Three-Day Roving Charity Casinos.
The Urban Environment and Development Committee recommends that Council request the Province of Ontario to permit three-day roving charity casinos a three-month extension from the proposed cancellation date of March 31, 1998, in order to provide the opportunity for the Council of the City of Toronto to review the matter of permanent charity gaming clubs and video lottery terminals.
