PROPOSED TTC SERVICE CUTS

Referring to the communication (March 3, 1999) from the Chair, Toronto Transit
Commission, advising of the proposed elimination of poor performing routes due to subsidy
reduction; expressing concern regarding the impact on the quality of service in the
community; that the residents should be afforded an opportunity to voice their concerns prior
to Council dealing with this matter; and requesting that this communication be placed on the
agenda for discussion.
