Renumbering of Residential Property and

Waiving of Planning Fees -

54 Wallasey Avenue to 52 Wallasey Avenue -

North York Humber

The North York Community Council recommends that the planning fee for renumbering the residential property at 54 Wallasey Avenue to 52 Wallasey Avenue, not be waived but that it be reduced to $250.00, plus G.S.T., and that the owner of 54 Wallasey Avenue be so advised.

The North York Community Council submits for the information of Council the following Resolution from Councillor Mammoliti, North York Humber:

WHEREAS the residential property listed as 54 Wallasey Avenue, North York, includes both lots of 54 Wallasey Avenue and 52 Wallasey Avenue (52 Wallasey Ave. presently non-existent); and

WHEREAS the owner of property at 54 Wallasey Avenue, Donato Liotino, has requested by way of his son, Vito Liotino, to re-number the above said mentioned property and now be listed as 52 Wallasey Avenue; and

WHEREAS a consultation has occurred with both adjoining residents of the abutting residences and properties; and

WHEREAS the consultation process has resulted in an approval of a renumbering change, by both of the abutting neighbours; and

WHEREAS the renumbering request and the results of the neighbouring consultation has been documented in a letter sent by Vito Liotino to Councillor Mammoliti; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City approve of the renumbering of the property now to be listed at 52 Wallasey Avenue; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the city planning policies that determines fees, be waived for this occasion and that no fee be incurred upon the Liotino's who are requesting the above mentioned renumbering residential address change.

The North York Community Council reports having had before it a communication (February10,1999) from Mr. Vito N. Liotino, advising of his opposition to the planning fee charged for renumbering a residential property.

A recorded vote on the recommendation moved by Councillor Feldman, North York Spadina, was as follows:

FOR:Councillors Sgro, Li Preti, Augimeri, Feldman, Berger, Flint, Filion

AGAINST:Councillors Moscoe, Gardner, Minnan-Wong

ABSENT:Councillors Mammoliti, Chong, Shiner, King
