Operational Review of Ontario Works
and Child Care
The Community and Neighbourhood Services Committee reports having directed that, given the delay by the
Provincial Government in releasing its Operational Review of Ontario Works and Child Care, the Commissioner of
Community and Neighbourhood Services be requested to report directly to Council for its meeting on May 11, 1999,
providing an update on the number of children in need of child care now that their parents qualify for Ontario
Works.
