BY-LAW No. 973-1998
To amend further Metropolitan Toronto By-law No. 20-85, a by-law
"Respecting the licensing, regulating and governing of trades, callings, businesses and
occupations in the Metropolitan Area", a by-law of the former Municipality of
Metropolitan Toronto.
The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 10 of Schedule 35 to By-law No. 20-85, a by-law Respecting the licensing,
regulating and governing of trades, callings, businesses and occupations in the Metropolitan
Area", a by-law of the former Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto, as amended, is repealed.
2. Section 28 of Schedule 35 to By-law No. 20-85, as amended, is repealed and the
following is inserted in lieu thereof:
28. (1) No owner, operator or driver shall operate or drive a vehicle upon
any road or highway set out in Appendix 1 to this Schedule or within the area
bounded by the west side of Spadina Avenue, the Canadian Pacific Railway line
north of Dupont Street, the east side of Jarvis Street and the south side of Trent
Street.
3. The said Appendix 1, attached hereto, shall form part of this By-law.
