The Interview Subcommittee for Toronto Transit Commission recommends to the Civic Appointments Committee that:
1. City Council appoint the following candidate to the Toronto Transit Commission Board, at pleasure of Council, for a term of office ending on December 31, 2020 and until a successor is appointed:

City Council direct that the confidential information contained in Confidential Attachments 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 to the report (September 12, 2016) from the City Clerk remain confidential in their entirety as they relate to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Toronto Transit Commission Board. |

| Summary |
There is one public member vacancy on the TTC Board due to Maureen Adamson's resignation, effective May 2, 2016. The Interview Subcommittee for TTC will interview six candidates during its meeting on September 20, 2016, and recommend one candidate to the Civic Appointments Committee to fill this vacancy.
To align with the upcoming mid-term appointments, Public Appointments Secretariat staff recommend that the public member be appointed for a term of office ending on December 31, 2020, and until a successor is appointed. |
