The City of Toronto and Team Toronto vaccination partners are working to vaccinate everyone who wants a vaccine against COVID-19 as quickly as possible. While second doses continue to rollout – including in record-setting numbers this Sunday during Toronto Vaccine Day – the City is reminding all residents to follow all provincial regulations, City bylaws and public health advice to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

There are 68 new cases of COVID-19 in Toronto today. Since the start of the pandemic there have been a total of 169,532 cases of COVID-19. There are 511 people hospitalized. To date, there have been 3,505 COVID-19 deaths in Toronto. In total, 164,929 people have recovered. Case status data can be found on Toronto Public Health’s reporting dashboard.

Residents planning to experience ActiveTO this weekend can enjoy part of Lake Shore Boulevard East (from Leslie Street to Woodbine Avenue) and Bayview Avenue (from Rosedale Valley Road to Lauren Harris Square) as well as River Street (from Bayview Avenue to Spruce Street) by bike or as a pedestrian from Saturday at 6 a.m. until Sunday at 9 p.m. Roads in High Park will also be fully closed to vehicles for people to be active starting at approximately 11 p.m. until Monday at approximately 7 a.m. Residents are also encouraged to visit one of Toronto’s 1,500 parks, any number of paths or hydro corridors with trails for fresh air and exercise. Toronto remains in Step One of the Province of Ontario’s reopening framework until Wednesday, June 30 at 12:01 a.m. All residents should review the City’s COVID-19: Reopening Guide for Toronto Residents for public health guidance and information on what is and is not permitted under provincial regulations and City bylaws.
