The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines — including a focus on in-home second doses of vaccines for vulnerable homebound Torontonians in their place of residence.
To date, 2,991,340 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto as part of the overall Team Toronto initiative. As of yesterday evening, approximately 814,783 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-operated clinic.
Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book their vaccination appointment as soon as possible by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at the City’s COVID-19 webpage or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.
Today, the remaining 60,000 appointments announced on Friday will open for the week of June 28. The appointments are accessible through the City’s COVID-19 webpage or by calling the provincial vaccination booking line at 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007). Vaccinations at City clinics are by appointment only and walk-in clients cannot be accommodated. Anyone who cannot attend a scheduled appointment is urged to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible to allow others to book. Appointments at City-run clinics can be cancelled or changed or by calling the provincial booking line.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccines to the neighbourhoods most in need.

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 32 clinics today, including mobile teams, on-site and pop-up clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.
