The City of Toronto is working non-stop with its healthcare partners, pharmacies and Toronto Public Health to administer all available COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 3,311,071 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Toronto as part of the overall Team Toronto initiative. As of yesterday evening, approximately 786,152 people have booked COVID-19 vaccination appointments at a City-operated clinic.

Everyone age 12 years or older is encouraged to book their vaccination appointment as soon as possible by clicking the blue “Book a Vaccine” button at City’s COVID-19 webpage or through phone by calling the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900.

Vaccinations at City clinics are by appointment only and walk-in clients cannot be accommodated. Anyone who cannot attend a scheduled appointment is urged to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible to allow others to book. Appointments at City-run clinics can be cancelled or changed at the Vaccine Booking Appointment webpage or by calling the provincial booking line.

The Team Toronto effort is focused on getting as many residents vaccinated as quickly as possible based on available supply. It is also expanding mobile vaccination efforts across Toronto to bring vaccines to the neighbourhoods most in need.

Today, a Team Toronto Mobile Sprint Strategy partner will vaccinate approximately 2,000 people at the following pop-up clinic:

  • University of Toronto Scarborough – Individuals age 12 years and older who live or work in Scarborough.

The City and healthcare partners are working to operate a total of approximately 36 clinics today, including mobile teams, on-site and pop-up clinics, to vaccinate priority groups identified by the Province of Ontario’s priority framework.

 City of Toronto immunization clinics

  • Today, will vaccinate up to 17,809 eligible residents across nine City-operated immunization clinics: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto Congress Centre, Scarborough Town Centre, Malvern Community Recreation Centre, Mitchell Field Arena, The Hangar, Cloverdale Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre and Carmine Stefano Community Centre.

Unity Health Toronto, Downtown East Toronto OHT and West Toronto OHT 

  • Today, will hold two on-site clinics and five pop-up clinics.
  • Will vaccinate people who are hospital and community-based healthcare workers, homebound adults, Indigenous peoples, individuals age 12 years and older, and those eligible for a second dose.

  • Today, will hold two on-site clinics deploy three mobile teams.
  • Will vaccinate 2,701 people who are healthcare workers, long-term care staff, essential caregivers, patients with priority health conditions, Indigenous peoples, people age 12 years and older, homebound patients and individuals living in shelters.

  • Today, will hold one primary care clinic.
  • Will vaccinate people who are age 12 years or older.

  • Today, will hold one on-site clinic and three mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate 3,410 people who had their first dose before May 30 and individuals living in priority postal code areas.

  • Today, will hold one pop-up clinic, and one mobile clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 2,500 people who are age 12 years and older and seniors receiving first and second doses.

  • Today, will hold four on-site clinics and two mobile clinics.
  • Will vaccinate approximately 4,287 people who are age 12 years and older, and live or work in Scarborough.

  • Today, will hold one on-site clinic.
  • Will vaccinate 418 people who are 12 years and older with a first dose, and people who received their first dose before May 9 with a second dose.
