“There is limited availability of appointments at our Crossways and Jane St. clinics until further notice”.

Do you want to get tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)?

Easy Screen appointments offer a way to book a quick visit with one of our nurses for STI testing for anyone with no symptoms and no need to see a doctor.  At an Easy Screen appointment other services (birth control, pregnancy test, seeing a doctor/nurse practitioner for symptom assessment or treatment) will not be available.  To book an appointment for one of these other service, please call one of our clinics.

You do not need to have an Ontario health card or health insurance to be tested.

Tests that are done during an Easy Screen appointment will vary depending on the type of sex you are having and other factors.  Tests conducted during an Easy Screen appointment include:
  • Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing by urine (pee), throat swab, vaginal swab, and/or rectal swab.
  • Blood tests for HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C.

Some individuals may need to see our doctor or nurse practitioner if they do not meet the eligibility criteria for an Easy Screen appointment. Proceed through the booking process at the bottom of the page to see if you are eligible.  Each person wanting to get tested needs to book their own individual Easy Screen appointment.

If you have booked an Easy Screen appointment and do not meet the eligibility criteria, we will only be able to provide you with the specified STI tests during your appointment.  If you need additional STI services (examination for symptoms, other tests not done in an Easy Screen appointment or treatment) or other services (contraception, pregnancy tests or counselling) you will be asked to book a separate appointment.
