Some businesses in Toronto require a business licence. Municipal
Licensing & Standards issues licences to various types of
businesses and trades, as well as some mobile businesses in the City.
This website allows you to search licence information for
licensed businesses in Toronto except for personal licences (licences without a place of business or business vehicle).

Business owners' names are included in the licence details.
The name of a business owner is not considered personal information
according to Section 2.1 of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
Business owners' home addresses or telephone numbers will not be displayed in the search results.
