These permits apply only to businesses in the former City of Toronto and former Borough of East York. For businesses in other former municipalities please contact the Municipal Licensing & Standards District Office.

Please make your application in person and bring the following:
- Applicant must present two (2) pieces of government issued identification
- Valid photo - Provincial driver's licence; Provincial health card; or Canadian passport
- Work status - Canadian passport/citizenship card/birth certificate; Permanent resident card; Work permit; or S.I.N. card
- All required completed documents and payments

Do you need a Business Licence?
You may be required to obtain a business licence as well as a Road Allowance permit to operate your business.
