The City of Toronto’s Partners in Preparedness program aims to support organizations in preparing their employees, volunteers, services and facilities for emergencies.

Partners come from all parts of the community — including private sector and community sector organizations, such as businesses, banking and financial companies, faith-based groups, health care agencies; and non-profits — and enjoy a range of benefits. This includes access to resources and the support needed to be prepared and resilient such as:

  • quarterly newsletters on private sector and community sector emergency preparedness
  • preparedness brochures for the public

As this program continues to evolve, the City hopes to offer additional benefits to organizations, such as access to events and real-time information during emergencies.

The Partners in Preparedness newsletter now combines our private sector and community-based newsletters into a single quarterly newsletter. The February 2020 edition can be found at Partners in Preparedness Newsletter.
