The City has three wedding chambers located at the North York, Scarborough and York Civic Centres. The wedding chambers are booked in blocks of 30 minutes at a cost of $136.85 (including HST). The booking is for the room only. You must arrange for an authorized officiant to perform your marriage ceremony. To reschedule an existing booking please contact us.
How to Book a Wedding Chamber
- You can book a wedding chamber online or in-person at one of our offices.
- The booking is for the room only. A marriage officiant is not included.
- The fee is $136.85 for a 30 minute booking (HST included), payable by cash, debit, credit card, certified cheque or money order.
- This fee is non-refundable.
- If you require additional time beyond 30 minutes, you must book additional time in 30 minute blocks.
- If you need to reschedule your booking please email marriage@toronto.ca. Please note that you cannot reschedule your booking online.
Book a Wedding Chamber
The booking is for the room only.
You must arrange for:
- a marriage officiant to perform your ceremony
- two witnesses for your ceremony
- a marriage licence
- music, a sound system is provided for CD’s, MP3s, iPods and smartphones (you will need to provide your own music and audio cable if needed)

Terms of Use
Facility bookings are made under these terms and conditions:
- tossing of confetti, rice or any other material is not permitted
- decorations are permitted, as long as they are not taped to the walls and can be removed (all items left on City property will be disposed of within 24 hours after the event)
- the City is not responsible for any stolen or misplaced items left on the property
- open-flamed candles and the burning of incense are not permitted due to Fire Code
- food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted
- smoking is not permitted
- maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded
