Housing agreement signed
The federal and provincial governments have finalized an agreement that will allocate some $108 million in affordable housing funds to Toronto over four years. Ontario Minister Kathleen Wynne and federal Minister Diane Finley signed the Investment in Affordable Housing program agreement in Toronto.

New housing program guidelines
Guidelines for the new Investment in Affordable Housing for Ontario program are available in English and French on the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing website. The IAH will provide $480.6 million in federal and provincial funding across Ontario over four years.

City Development Fee Exemptions
Non-profit housing developers can qualify for exemptions from the City of Toronto's planning application and development fees. In this way, the City helps make new affordable rental housing even more affordable. Application forms are available here.
