Nominations are now open for the Mayor’s Community Safety Awards
Do you know of any projects that keep our city safe? Please nominate them for the 2011 Mayor’s Community Safety Awards or let them know that we are now accepting applications. Five winning programs/projects will receive a $1000 award sponsored by Bell, to continue their work building safe communities. The winners will also be honoured at an awards ceremony with Mayor Rob Ford.

Community Crisis Response Program
Did you know the Community Crisis Response Program (CCRP) works across Toronto providing support and resources to communities impacted by violent and traumatic incident? CCRP staff work in partnership with other City divisions, local residents, community-based agencies and other partners to deliver direct services and resources to affected communities and individuals, coordinate community debriefings and facilitate information sharing. They also plan community-based safety workshops and training sessions.
