Scent Free Policy
In response to health concerns, Court Services workplaces limit the use of scented products. Scented products such as hair sprays, perfume and scented deodorants may trigger reactions such as respiratory distress and headaches. In consideration of others, people attending at the courthouses are asked to limit or refrain from using scented products. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Note: There is a P.O.A. administration office in Room 5A, Old City Hall. This is a satellite of the office located at 137 Edward St. In room 5A, you can pay a fine directly after your court appearance and receive witness fees. All other matters including paying previously obtained fine payments, transcript requests appeal inquiries, and trial requests must be dealt with at 137 Edward St.

We are committed to delivering professional services to those persons who are using the provincial offences courts administered by the City of Toronto. In an effort to continually improve our services and performance, we invite individuals to advise us when something goes wrong. This will help us to improve our standards and ensure effective delivery of our services.

What will happen next?
- We will contact you within 2 business days following receipt of your complaint.
- We will investigate your complaint. This normally involves following up with appropriate staff, reviewing polices, guidelines and laws that apply.
- We will respond to your complaint within 14 days of sending you our acknowledgement of having received your complaint.
- If adjustments to the timelines are required, we will let you know and explain why.
- If you are making a verbal complaint, you may be asked to put your complaint in writing, especially if it involves a serious or complex matter.
