Where do I pick up P.O.T. books and 104 summonses? |

Contact the court administration office for the Provincial Offences court location where your charges are returnable and they will put you in touch with the contact person. You will need to supply the following information:
- Number of charges laid in a typical six-month period
- Number of enforcement officers requiring part one ticket books

Where can I get forms (motion, information, summons, etc)? |

These documents are available at any Provincial Offences court office in the City of Toronto. If large quantities are required, contact the court administration office where your charges are returnable to place an order in advance. |

Our agency is about to start laying charges under P1, P2 & P3 of the Provincial Offences Act. Where will the Certificates be held and the trials be heard? |

Where do I send Young Offender Charges? |
|
In Provincial Offences court, anyone between the ages of 12 and 15 years is deemed a Young Person under section 93 of the Provincial Offences Act. When the Province transferred the administration of Parts 1, 2, 3 to the City in 2002, the Province retained jurisdiction over young persons. Those matters are heard in the Ontario Court of Justice that is administered by the Province. You must contact the Ministry of the Attorney General. The general inquiry number is 416-326-2220. |

Where do I swear to an information and have a summons issued? |

Attend the intake court located at the Provincial Offences court office that files your documents. |

Who will be prosecuting my charges? |
|
P1 or P2 charges are prosecuted by City Prosecutors. The City also prosecutes the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, Building Code, Health Protection Act, Tobacco Tax Act, Dog Owner's Liability Act, and all bylaws under P3 of the Provincial Offences Act.
The Provincial Prosecutors or the enforcement agency's own prosecutions unit prosecutes all other P3 charges. |

How will I know when my matters are set for trial? |

All agencies, except Toronto Police Service, must arrange to have their Notices of Trial delivered through the provincial Offences court office that administers their charges. |
