S&P reaffirms City's credit rating of AA with stable outlook
On an annual basis, credit rating agencies assess the City's financial condition by comparing it with other cities and regions in quality of management, strength of economy, level of reserves, condition of assets and debt levels. See report from Standard & Poor's Ratings Services.
City maintains stable credit rating for global markets
International investors service firm Moody's has reaffirmed the City of Toronto's stable credit rating of Aa1 for the tenth consecutive year. The rating confirms that City bonds represent excellent value based upon the City's positive operating results, its fiscal discipline, budgetary surpluses generated over the last several years, its diverse and strong local economy and the strong credit ratings.

Senior staff expenses available online
Business expenses for senior management and division heads are now posted online. These expenses, which include business travel, conferences and training, hospitality and protocol, will be published semi-annually, commencing with the 2011 calendar year. More information

Purchasing Card (PCard) Transactions
At its April 12 and 13, 2011 meeting, City Council approved the online publication of expenses made through the City Purchasing Card (PCard) to commence in July 2011. The most recent PCard expense reports are available on the City's Open Data page.
Council PCard expenses are not included in this report. Councillor expenses are disclosed separately through the quarterly Councillor Office Expense Reports.
PCard expenses for the Offices of the Auditor General, Integrity Commissioner, Lobbyist Registrar and Ombudsman are not included as part of this report. PCard expenses for these offices are posted separately on the websites of the Offices of the Auditor General, Integrity Commissioner, Lobbyist Registrar, and Ombudsman.
