 SUBJECT:1997 Financial Statements of The Metropolitan Toronto Sinking Funds

   Purpose:

 To present the 1997 Financial Statements of the Metropolitan Toronto Sinking Funds to Committee.

 Funding Sources, Financial Implications and Impact Statement:

 None.

 Recommendation:

 It is recommended that the Financial Statements of The Metropolitan Toronto Sinking Funds be received for information.

 Council Reference / Background History:

 The Auditor of the former Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto has completed the 1997 financial audit of The Metropolitan Toronto Sinking Funds.

Comments:

 The Metropolitan Toronto Sinking Funds Committee, at its meeting of March 26, 1998, received and approved the Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 1997.

 Conclusion:

 Receive the 1997 Financial Statements of The Metropolitan Toronto Sinking Funds.
