The City of Toronto has launched 311 Toronto. Dialing 311 provides residents, businesses and visitors with easy access to non-emergency City services, programs and information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With one call to 311, customer service representatives will be able to answer most questions or requests for information, take service requests and resolve the majority of inquiries without a call transfer.

Toronto Streets - new road restrictions map
This summer promises to be one of the busiest ever on Toronto’s streets. The City has embarked on a very aggressive capital works program to improve our roads and water-related infrastructure. Construction begins on Nathan Phillips Square Revitalization
From 2010 to 2012, the City of Toronto will reinvigorate Nathan Phillips Square to restore its beauty and dignity, preserve and enhance its unique heritage qualities and reintroduce it as a more functional and environmentally sustainable public meeting place.
Water Meter Program
The City of Toronto has officially launched the Water Meter Program. The mandatory program will install or replace 465,000 water meters over six years with new automated meters. Learn more.

Accessible Customer Service

All child care centres with a service contract for fee subsidy are assessed by the City for quality standards using the Toronto Operating Criteria. The quality ratings from this assessment are one of the tools parents can use to make an informed child care choice.
