 SUBJECT:Financial Statements of The Toronto Atmospheric Fund for the Year Ended December 31, 1997

 Purpose:

 To present the 1997 Financial Statements of The Toronto Atmospheric Fund to Committee.

 Funding Sources, Financial Implications and Impact Statement:

 None.

 Recommendation:

 It is recommended that the Financial Statements of The Toronto Atmospheric Fund be received for information.

 Council Reference / Background History:

 Bill Pr45 (December 1992), an Act to incorporate The Toronto Atmospheric Fund and The Toronto Atmospheric Fund Foundation requires that The Board of Directors ensure that the books and records of the fund are audited each fiscal year and the auditor provide a report to the City as soon as possible after completing the audit.

 Comments:

 The Toronto Atmospheric Fund, at its Annual Meeting held on March 27, 1998, approved the attached Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 1997.

 Conclusion:

 Receive the 1997 Financial Statements of The Toronto Atmospheric Fund.
