 Subject:Children=s Action Committee - Membership

  Recommendations:

 (1)That Trustee Rose Andrachuk be appointed as the representative for the Toronto District Catholic School Board to replace Trustee Christine Nunziata.

 (2)That Colette Murphy be appointed as the representative for the United Way to replace Cynthia D=Anjou-Brown.

 (3)That Valerie MacDonald be appointed to replace Annie Kidder as the representative for People for Education.

 Background:

 The Children=s Action Committee had before it the following communications regarding its Membership:

 (April 17, 1998) from Director of Education, Toronto Catholic District School Board recommending that Trustee Rose Andrachuk be appointed as their representative to replace Trustee Christine Nunziata who has resigned.

 (April 30, 1998) from the President, United Way, requesting that Colette Murphy be appointed as their representative to replace Cynthia D=Anjou-Brown who has resigned.
