7: CORONER=S REPORT
-This is the Coroner=s report. Our committee has had input but it is not our report
-Recommendation #1: What is the definition of injury? What does >reportable=
mean? Is it that you are entitled to report it or required to report it?
- The MTO raised concerns regarding this recommendation. What happens with a single car collision? Can this be applied
to single bike falls?
-Steve Beiko---19% of cycling fatalities in the past 10 years did not involve a motor vehicle. In the future, such fatalities,
should also be examined and studied, says Steve
- comments will be passed on to the Coroner and we will be kept apprised of future draft reports
8: OTHER BUSINESS
-Steve Beiko---more and more cars seem to signal late. Isn=t this a requirement
of passing the driver=s test? Are drivers just lazy?
-Many ideas to liaise with Driver Examiners
