Subject:New Development Applications for Etobicoke District

Recommendation:

It is recommended that the Urban Development report on new development applications for the Etobicoke District be received.

Background:

The purpose of this report is to keep the Community Council and City Council apprised of all new development applications (rezoning/official plan amendment, site plan approval, condominium and subdivision) as they are received by this Department. Please note that the format and timing of this report will be changing, consistent with the practises throughout the City.

Exhibit No. 1 is a list of development applications received since the last report was presented to the September 16, 1998 meeting of the Etobicoke Community Council. For the year to date, the Department has received nine (9) rezoning and/or Official Plan amendment applications, thirty-four (34) site plan approval applications, and nine (9) condominium applications, one (1) subdivision application and two (2) applications for Exemption from Part-Lot Control.
