RE: APPEAL TO MUZZLE ORDER
Attached please find a copy of an appeal to a muzzle order for Ms. Miriam Mirshahi, 740 York Mills Road, Suite 706.
The material package includes the following:
1. Notice to muzzle a dog under City of North York By-law 32823, issued by the Chief Animal Control Officer on September 2, 1997.
2. Communication (September 28, 1997) from Ms. Mirshahi appealing the Muzzle Order.
3. Report (October 9, 1997) from the City Solicitor.
4. Memorandum (October 14, 1997) from the Administrator, Animal Centre, By-law Enforcement Services, Legal Department.
5. Guidelines for hearing an appeal of an Order to Muzzle issued by the Chief Animal Control Officer pursuant to By-law No. 32823.
Please arrange to have the hearing scheduled before the North York Community Council.
Notification of the hearing is to be forwarded to Ms. Mirshahi and the witnesses/victims listed on the noted October 14, 1997 memorandum from the Chief Animal Control Officer.
