November 24, 1998

To:Scarborough Community Council

From:Ted Tyndorf, MCIP, RPP

Director of Community Planning, East District

Subject:Status of Site Plan Implementation

6515 Kingston Road

Purpose:

On September 16, 1998, Community Council had before it a report by the Commissioner of Corporate Services regarding an encroachment agreement on 6515 Kingston Road. Community Council accepted the recommendations of that report and requested staff report back to the December 9, 1998 Community Council regarding the status of the site plan implementation. This report responds to that direction.

Recommendations:

That this report be received for information.

Background:

The owners of 6515 Kingston Road, which is located on the south side of Kingston Road just west of Centennial Road, conveyed 4.9 metres (16 feet) road widening to the former City of Scarborough in 1980. The owner recently received Council's approval to allow a metal fence to remain on the previously conveyed road widening. This approval allowed for the finalization of the site plan and the completion of all landscaping aspects of the site plan agreement for the property.

Conclusion:

Staff has confirmed that all work required to finalize the Site Plan Control Agreement S92095 was implemented prior to November 15, 1998 as recommended. There are no further matters outstanding with regards to this property. As such no further action is necessary.
