 April 21, 1998

 NOMINATING COMMITTEE:

 City Council, at its meeting held on April 16, 1998, had before it the following Motion:

 Moved by:Councillor Johnston

 Seconded by:Councillor Korwin-Kuczynski

 AWHEREAS City Council at its meeting held on January 2, 6, 8 and 9, 1998, by its adoption, as amended, of Clause No. 1 of Report No. 1 of The Striking Committee, appointed Councillor Anne Johnston to the membership of the Nominating Committee; and

 WHEREAS Councillor Johnston has advised the City Clerk that she wishes to resign from the Nominating Committee; and

 WHEREAS Councillor Korwin-Kuczynski has indicated an interest in serving on the Nominating Committee;

 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Councillor Korwin-Kuczynski be appointed to the membership of the Nominating Committee in the place and stead of Councillor Anne Johnston.@

 Council directed that the foregoing Motion be referred to the Striking Committee, having accepted the resignation of Councillor Anne Johnston from the Nominating Committee.
