Subject:Installation of on-street disabled persons parking spaces (High Park, Trinity-Niagara
and Davenport)
Purpose:
To report on requests for the installation of a number of disabled on-street parking spaces.
Funding Sources, Financial Implications and Impact Statement:
Not applicable.
Recommendations:
(1)That the installation of disabled on-street parking spaces as noted in Table AA@ of this
report be approved; and
(2)That the appropriate City Officials be requested to take whatever action is necessary to
give effect to the foregoing, including the introduction in Council of any Bills that may be
required.
Comments:
Works and Emergency Services staff have investigated the feasibility of installing a number
of on-street disabled persons parking spaces at various locations as outlined on the attached
Table AA@ of this report.
All applicants are holders of valid disabled persons parking permits as issued by the Ministry
of Transportation and the designated space will not result in the deprivation of more than one
on-street parking space.
