Subject: Streamlined Process for considering Budget Matters prior to
Council Approval of the Capital and Operating Budget.
The Corporate Services Committee on February 16, 1998, during consideration of a report (February 2, 1998) from the Commissioner of Corporate Services, entitled "High-Speed Network for the City of Toronto", amongst other things, took the following action:
"(2) requested the Special Committee to Review the Final Report of the Toronto Transition Team to consider a more streamlined process for dealing with budget items that require Budget Committee approval prior to final approval of the Operating and Capital budget, and report thereon to Council."
