17.APPEAL OF COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT APPLICATION

CA-98-24: 43 BRALORNE CRESCENT - WARD 28: YORK HUMBER

 Purpose:

 This report provides information on appeals of Committee of Adjustment applications.

 Funding Sources, Financial Implications and Impact Statement:

 Not applicable.

 Recommendations:

 It is recommended that this report be received.

 Background:

 CA-98-24 - 43 Bralorne Crescent

(See Appendix A and B attached)

 The Committee of Adjustment on March 3, 1998 granted a minor variances to permit a one storey front addition (8.3 m2 front entrance foyer) to an existing two storey semi-detached dwelling on the condition that the depth of the addition be reduced by 0.6 metres from 2.7 metres to 2.1 metres. The Development Services Department did not comment to Committee on the application.

 The owner has appealed the Committee=s decision. The Ontario Municipal Board has not yet scheduled a hearing for the application.

 Comments:

 The Development Services Department provided no comment on the minor variance application for 43 Bralorne Crescent. Therefore, no direction is required for staff to attend the Municipal Board hearing.

 Conclusions:

 It is recommended that this report be received.
