Poll Results: Proposal for On-street Permit Parking on Durham Avenue,

Between Winnett Avenue and the Easterly Limits

Comments from Residents:

Not In Favour:

(a)Because I live at the end of the street.

(b)There is a lot of congestion due to pick-up and drop-off at the school. It is difficult enough at this time to access our house because of the traffic maze and our driveway due to this congestion. If any change was to be made, I would like to suggest that Arlington be made a two-way street between Durham and the first street south of Durham.

(c)I am not in favour of permit parking on the south side of Durham. That is totally ridiculous!

(d)Please note that there is a driveway on each lot on the south side. Enough for on-street parking! Been at this address for twenty years. There has never been a problem for parking on the south side. There is no need for this.
