To obtain Community Council approval for the following special events to be held in our parks where alcohol will be
served/sold.

Recommendations:
Approval be granted for the above events to be held in our parks and to be declared as
community festivals.
Council Reference/Background History:
The required clearances from Police, Fire, Health and Building are in the process of being obtained. All these events have
been held in the past except for the Oakwood Bocce Club=s request.

ACommunity Festival@ by resolution of Council; advising that the Commissioner, Community Services, has provided
approval; that two million dollars of liability insurance must be provided; and that the necessary clearances from the Health
and Fire Departments must be obtained.
