To authorize the execution and registration of a plan of survey for the acquisition of all rights, title and interests in the private lane which extends northerly from Humberside Avenue, between High Park Avenue and Pacific Avenue, for public lane purposes.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the City of Toronto, at its meeting held on July 24 and 25, 1995, adopted Clause No. 19 of City Services Committee Report No. 10 authorizing an application for the expropriation of all rights, title and interests in the private lane which extends northerly from Humberside Avenue, between High Park Avenue and Pacific Avenue, for public lane purposes;
WHEREAS Council approved the application and authorized the appropriate City Officials to take the necessary actions to effect the expropriation of all rights, title and interests in the private lane which extends northerly from Humberside Avenue, between High Park Avenue and Pacific Avenue, for public lane purposes; and
WHEREAS By-law No. passed on the 4th day of March, 1998, expropriated all rights, title and interests in the private lane which extends northerly from Humberside Avenue, between High Park Avenue and Pacific Avenue, for public lane purposes, which lands are shown as PARTS 1 - 19, inclusive, on Plan of Survey 2030-1 prepared by Walter Kowalenko, Acting City Surveyor, on the 10th day of August, 1995; and
WHEREAS the Expropriations Act requires the execution of the plan of survey by the expropriating authority and its registration in the proper land registry office;
The Council of the City of Toronto ENACTS as follows:
1. (a) The Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer or designate and the City Clerk or designate are authorized to sign the plan of survey, and the City Clerk or designate are authorized and directed to affix the seal of the City of Toronto; and
(b) When signed and sealed, Walter Kowalenko, City Surveyor, is directed to cause Plan of Survey 2030-1 to be registered in the Land Registry Office for the Metropolitan Toronto Registry Division Office (No. 64) and the Commissioner of Corporate Services is authorized and directed to give notice of the expropriation in accordance with the Expropriations Act.
2. Plan of Survey 2030-1, attached, shall form part of this By-law.

WHEREAS authority is given to Council by Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended, to pass this By-law;
AND WHEREAS Council of the former City of Scarborough has provided adequate information to the public and has held at least one public meeting in accordance with the Planning Act;
Now, therefore, the Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule AA@ of the Oakridge Employment District is amended by deleting the current zoning and substituting the following zoning as shown on Schedule A1" attached to this by-law.
