The Strategic Policies and Priorities Committee recommends the adoption of the recommendation of the Municipal Grants Review Committee embodied in the transmittal letter (March 31, 1998) from the Municipal Grants Review Committee:

Recommendation:

The Municipal Grants Review Committee on March 31, 1998, during discussion of its mandate, recommended to the Strategic Policies and Priorities Committee, and Council, that its quorum be reduced from five members to four members, in the interest of pursuing the work of the Committee, and having regard to the concerns expressed by members with respect to the conflicting number of meetings that they are expected to attend.
