To authorize certain works and undertakings on City of Toronto Roads.
WHEREAS notice of this by-law has been published and the provisions of the Municipal Act relating to the altering of
highways have been complied with:
Now, therefore, the Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1.The following works and undertakings, as described in the following table:
LocationWork and Undertaking
(1)Islington Avenue at Albion RoadConstruct an extension of the southbound traffic island;
(2)800 Warden Avenue, south of Construction of development
Civic Roadaccesses, concrete centre medians, a southbound right turn lane and traffic control signals;
(3)Morningside Avenue at Ellesmere RoadConstruct an extension of the southbound traffic island;
(4)740 Ellesmere Road, east ofConstruction of a development
Birchmount Roadaccess;
Ellesmere Road, at Kennedy RoadConstruct an eastbound right-turn lane;
Warden Avenue, at Ellesmere RoadConstruct a southbound right-turn lane;
(5)The Queensway, west of The West MallReconstruction of centre median and widening of south side to provide for an
eastbound right turn lane;
Reconstruction of the concrete centre median to provide a westbound left turn lane into the Queens Walk
Developments;
Installation of traffic control signals at the intersection of The Queensway and the entrance to the Queens Walk
Development, west of The West Mall;
The West Mall, south of The QueenswayReconstruction of centre median to accommodate an extension of the
northbound left turn lane; and
(6)Overlea Boulevard at William Morgan DriveReconstruction of centre medians to accommodate the installation of
traffic control signals.
