Bill No. 372

 BY-LAW No. -1998

 To stop up and close part of the public highway Simcoe Street.

  WHEREAS by Clause 1 of City Services Committee Report No. 10, adopted by the Council of the former Corporation of the City of Toronto at its meeting held on August 21, 1997, it is recommended that part of the public highway Simcoe Street be stopped up and closed as a public highway.

 AND WHEREAS notice of Council's intention to stop up and close the said portion of Simcoe Street was advertised in a daily newspaper on June 23, 30, July 7 and 14, 1997.

 The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

 1.Part of the public highway Simcoe Street, described by W. Kowalenko, Esq., O.L.S., as follows:

 In the City of Toronto and Province of Ontario, being composed of part of the Public Highway Simcoe Street, formerly William Street, on Plan 1-49-55 designated as Part 10 on Plan 64R-15600, both said Plans being in the Land Registry Office for the Metropolitan Toronto Registry Division (No. 64)

 The westerly limit of Simcoe Street as confirmed under the Boundaries Act by Plan BA-1093 (Instrument CT258877)

 is hereby stopped up and closed as a public highway.

 ENACTED AND PASSED this day of July, A.D. 1998.
