A By-law to Establish Certain Lands as
A Municipal Highway
WHEREAS the City of Toronto has acquired certain lands as hereinafter described and the Council of the City deems it
appropriate and necessary to accept the said lands as a Public Highway forming View Green Crescent, in the City of
Toronto;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 297 (1)(a) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1990, Chapter M.45, as amended, provides
that the Council of every municipality may pass by-laws for establishing and laying out highways;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 210 (111) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1990, Chapter M.45, as amended, provides
that by-laws may be passed by the Councils of local municipalities to provide for the surveying, settling and marking the
boundary lines of highways and giving names to them;
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TORONTO
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
l. That the lands described as Part of Block 2, in the City of Toronto, (formerly the City of Etobicoke) on Plan 66M-2257
and being more particularly described as Part l on Plan 66R-17733 filed in the Land Registry Office for the Land Titles
Division of Metropolitan Toronto, be and the same is hereby established and laid out as a public highway within the City
and be known as View Green Crescent and all by-laws presently in force with respect to highways and streets shall apply to
the said highway created under this By-law.
2. That this By-law shall take effect upon its approval by the City of Toronto and upon its registration in the appropriate
Land Registry Office.
