BY-LAW No.

 

To amend By-law No. 111-92, entitled "To regulate the placement

of hedges and fences on municipal streets and boulevards and to

protect the public from hazards from hedges and fences",

being a by-law of the former Borough of East York.

 

The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

 

1. Schedule "1" of By-law No. 111-92, as amended, being a by-law of the former Borough of East York, is further amended by inserting in Columns "A", "B" and "C" of said Schedule the following:

274 Rumsey Road

 

 

Section 2(b) restricts the height of fences on municipal road allowance, abutting front yards, to a maximum height of 0.9m.

 

 

Variance from Section 2(b) to permit the installation of a decorative wrought-iron fence at a height of 2.03m on the municipal road allowance abutting the front yard facing Rumsey Road, said fence being located approximately 55cm behind the public sidewalk along the frontage of Rumsey Road, starting, more or less, at the production of the northern property line of 274 Rumsey Road and running southerly therefrom a length of 4.5 metres to the termination of said fence.
