BY-LAW No.

 

To further amend former City of Toronto By-law No. 602-89, being "A By-law To authorize the construction, widening, narrowing, alteration and repair of sidewalks, pavements and curbs at various locations", respecting the alteration of Christie Street

by narrowing the pavement between Bloor Street West and Dupont Street.

 

WHEREAS notice of a proposed By-law regarding the proposed alteration was published in a daily newspaper on August 25, September 1, September 8 and September 15, 1998 and interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard at a public meeting held on September 16, 1998 and it is appropriate to amend the by-law to permit the alteration.

 

The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

 

1. Former City of Toronto By-law No. 602-89, being "A By-law To authorize the construction, widening, narrowing, alteration and repair of sidewalks, pavements and curbs at various locations", is amended:

 

(1) by inserting in Columns 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, respectively, of Schedule "B-3" ( Pavement Narrowing) the following:
