To amend the former City of Toronto Municipal Code Ch. 20, Business Improvement Areas, to make changes to the size and quorum for certain Boards of Management
and to make changes to ward names.
The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Municipal Code Chapter 20, Business Improvement Areas, of the former City of Toronto is amended as follows:
The table in Schedule A is amended by:
(1) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Bloor/Bathurst Madison by:
(a) deleting "9" and substituting "8" for the period from May 13, 1998 to July 8, 1998;
(b) deleting "8" and substituting "10" and by deleting "4" and substituting "5" for the period from July 8, 1998 to October 1, 1998;
(c) deleting "10" and substituting "11" and by deleting "5" and substituting "6"; and
(d) deleting "5, 13" and substituting "Midtown and Downtown".
(2) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Bloordale Village" by deleting "11" and substituting "10" and by deleting "5" and substituting "4" effective from May 13, 1998 and by deleting "3, 11" and substituting "Trinity-Niagara and Davenport".
(3) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Corso Italia" by deleting "12" and substituting "10" and by deleting "6" and substituting "5" effective from July 8, 1998.
(4) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Eglinton Way" by:
(a) deleting "9" and substituting "10" for the period from July 8, 1998 to October 1, 1998; and
(b) deleting "10" and substituting "9".
(5) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Gerrard India Bazaar" by deleting "12" and substituting "16" effective from May 13, 1998 and by deleting "9" and substituting "East Toronto".
(6) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Harbord Street" by deleting "9" and substituting "8".
(7) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Hillcrest Village" by deleting "8" and substituting "7" effective from July 8, 1998 and by deleting "12" and substituting "Davenport".
(8) Amending the numbers set out opposite "Queen/Broadview Village" by deleting "9" and substituting "10" and by deleting "8" and substituting "Don River".
(9) Amending the numbers set out opposite "St. Lawrence Neighbourhood" by deleting "6" and substituting "8" and by deleting "3" and substituting "4" effective from May 13, 1998 and by deleting "6" and substituting "Downtown".
