BY-LAW No.
To exempt from municipal taxation certain lands of Toronto and Region Conservation
Authority used as City Parks.
WHEREAS the lands hereinafter referred to are vested in The Toronto and Region
Conservation Authority and, under agreement therewith, are managed and controlled by City
of Toronto and are used for park purposes;
WHEREAS the City of Toronto Act, 1998 authorizes the City of Toronto to exempt such
lands from municipal taxation.
Now, therefore, the Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1.The lands described in Schedule "A" hereto attached, are exempt from municipal taxation.
2.The exemption given in section 1 shall remain in effect with respect to each parcel of land
separately described in the said Schedule "A" for so long as such parcel remains vested in The
Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and under agreement therewith is managed and
controlled by the City of Toronto and used for park purposes.
3.The said Schedule "A" forms part of this By-law.
4.This By-law shall be deemed to have come into force on the day of , 1998.
