To exempt certain lands within the Eaton Centre
from the provisions of subsection 50(5) of the Planning Act.
WHEREAS Subsection 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, states
that the council of a local municipality may by by-law provide that Subsection 50(5) of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, does not apply to land that is within a
registered plan of subdivision or part or parts thereof.
The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1.Subsection 50(5) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended, does not
apply to a part or parts of land wholly within the lands as described in Schedule "A" to this
By-law.
2.Pursuant to the provisions of Section 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, and
Section 2 of By-law No. 61-95 of the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto, Section 50(5) of
the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13 ceases to apply to the above-noted lands upon approval
of this By-law in accordance with the provisions of the said By-law No. 61-95.
