BY-LAW No.

To amend Scarborough Zoning By-law, the Employment Districts Zoning By-law Number 24982 with respect to the Rouge Employment District.

WHEREAS authority is given to Council by Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended, to pass this By-law; and whereas Council of the City of Toronto has provided adequate information to the public and has held at least one public meeting in accordance with the Planning Act;

The Council of the City of Toronto HEREBY ENACTS as follows:

1.Schedule "A" of the Rouge Employment District is amended, with respect to the land shown outlined on Schedule "1", by deleting Performance Standard 112 and adding Performance Standards 1372, 1442, 1513 and 1897, and Exception 122, so that the amended zoning by-law shall read as follows:

2.Schedule "B", PERFORMANCE STANDARDS CHART, is amended by adding the following Performance Standards:

PARKING - REQUIRED PARKING

1372.Minimum 3.0 parking spaces per 100 m² of gross floor area for Vehicle Sales Operations and accessory uses.

PARKING - YARDS

1442.Parking, storage or display of vehicles is prohibited within 10 m from the Highway 401 property line.

PARKING - PARKING SPACE AND DRIVEWAY DIMENSIONS

1513.The following provisions of CLAUSE V - GENERAL PROVISIONS are not applicable:

-Section 7.3, Parking Space and Driveway Dimensions, Sub-Section 7.3.3 of Sub-Clause 7, General Parking Regulations For All Zones

-Section 7.5, Parking Spaces in "M", "MG" and "MS" Zones of Sub-Clause 7, General Parking Regulations for All Zones

LANDSCAPING

1897.Minimum 10 m wide strip of land abutting the Highway 401 property line shall be used for landscaping.

3.Schedule "C", EXCEPTIONS LIST, is amended by deleting the contents of Exception Number 382 and replacing it as follows:

382.(a)Additional Permitted Uses:

-Vehicle Display Centres
