Ontario Municipal Board Appeal - 15 Seneca Avenue

The Toronto Community Council recommends the adoption of the following motion by Councillor Chow:
"WHEREAS the Commissioner of Urban Planning and Development Services in a letter to the Committee of
Adjustment dated August 7, 1998, has advised that staff did not support the minor variance requested by the
owner of 15 Seneca Avenue, to maintain a rear accessory structure for habitation purposes; and
WHEREAS the Committee of Adjustment refused the application in a decision dated August 19, 1998; and
WHEREAS the owner has appealed the decision of the Committee of Adjustment and an Ontario Municipal
Board hearing has been scheduled for November 10, 1998;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT City Council direct the City Solicitor and the Commissioner of Urban
Planning and Development Services to appear before the Ontario Municipal Board in support of the Committee of
Adjustment decision respecting 15 Seneca Avenue."
