Subject: Metropolitan Toronto Police Benefit Fund Election

Recommendation:

The Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan Toronto Police Benefit Fund recommends that this report be received for the information of the Administration Committee.

Background:

The Board had before it a communication (September 7, 1999) from the City Clerk advising, that an election has been held to select the Officer Representative on the Board to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Mr. Colin Ewing; and that Mr. Gunter Schroder, having received the largest number of votes has been elected as the Officer Representative on the Board to hold office until November 30, 2000; and recommending that this report be received and that it be forwarded to the Administration Committee for information.

The Board of Trustees received the aforementioned report and forwarded it to the Administration Committee for information.
