		March 4, 1999 TO:Toronto Cycling Committee FROM:Jack Becker, Co-Chair Toronto Cycling Committee SUBJECT:1999 Operating Budget In preparation of the upcoming City's 1999 Operating Budget cycle, Planning, Transportation Services, Works, and Parks staff should be requested to report back to the Toronto Cycling Committee on cycling related items that have been included in their budget submission. In addition, staff should be requested to identify any other items that the Cycling Committee should consider to support for the upcoming budget. The Toronto Cycling Committee should work towards a wish list of items, in addition to staff's budget submission, that the Committee would like to have included in the budget. It is also proposed that a small working group be established to work with Councillor Layton and staff during the budget process to promote proper representation of cycling- related items in the 1999 Operating Budget.
