Advocacy for Respect for Cyclists

Re:Bike Lane Monitor Statistics

Advocacy for Respect for Cyclists has been gathering information about the illegal use of downtown bike lanes. I think you may find these statistics of interest. ARC has discovered that a vehicle stopped in the College St. bike lane will endanger a cyclist every 55-65 seconds. ARC is planning bike week activities to address this concern, and we have some solutions to propose. We have posted the results of our studies online at this address:
